the general site rules,
first of all, activity is the most important part of this site, with the exception of respecting everyone. every time you come on the site you must sign in with all of your characters. avatars are mandatory, and signatures are not, although you can have one as long as it doesn't stretch the board. The size of the avatar must be 160 x 300. We are a supernatural website, but if you make a human they cannot have powers, and you need to be conscious of your limitations and make it realistic as having a magic element in your life would be. Also, we are not accepting of "cliques" on this site. It's cool that you might have a friend that's awesome to role play with, but if the two of you only role play with one another it's not fair to anyone else. We are a whole, like a strange online family.

the character rules
you may make as many characters as you want, but they must vary in type and gender. remain conscious of the specifics of the site for this. if you make three male characters your next character must be female, and viceversa. any characters you make should be some sort of famous, as in models, well known photographers, celebrities, musicians, etc. although using your best friend is sweet it is not recommended. Twins, triplets, and pregnancies are allowed but make sure it is also cleared with the admin. Keep in mind how this will effect your character. Also, no gary or mary-sues, power-playing, god-moding, or any other typical role playing rule you should know by now.

the "power" rules
keep in mind when making a flux that they contain one power, not multiples. Some will have "stronger" powers than the next but just because they have some sort of power does not make them all mighty. This is why we have a power claim. Also, keep in mind that the fuse also have powers although they are not prominent and typically cannot be controlled. This means that they could have random out bursts where the power happens (i.e. a mind reader suddenly being bombarded by voices for ten minutes before it stops). How you use the powers are up to you, but remember to keep it realistic. There are no secret powers. We must know what they are before even accepting you.

role playing rules
before even role playing your character must be accepted. it's mandatory to post in all the claims necessary and to make a plot page. We are a mature rated forum but you must also be familiar with the rules stated by proboards. we do not have a word count because we are strong believers in quality over quantity. That being said, a short 100 word paragraph generally isn't acceptable. Post appropriate to what you get. We are rapid-fire friendly but you can also post longer as well. Generally speaking, a thread should be replied to at least once a week for the thread or your character to be considered active.
